2010 Project

This is how its starts, after three or four hours of sanding down the original color and graphics. I say it’s the most difficult part of any helmet paint job.

Unlike automobile primer, the primer used in helmets is more flexible and also a little bit thinner.

The idea in this project is to give the illusion of a 3D carbon fiber base.

Working in layers is the best way to obtain the 3D results.

Once the base has been laid, Applying logos and other graphics and effects it’s a piece of cake!!!!
